Richard J. Bish, 65, of Perkiomenville, died July 1, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Quakertown. He was the beloved husband of Celeste (Quinn) Bish. Born in Abington, he was a son of the late Stanley and Helen (Metza) Bish. He was a graduate of Temple Technical Institute, and was a Specification Engineer for Leeds & Northrup, North Wales for 23 years, before retiring in 1992. Since then, he has been employed by the Montgomery County Parks Department. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills United Church of Christ, Bechtelsville, where is was a volunteer in the nursery room and was a greeter. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Peter, and his wife, Marcy; and a daughter, Kathryn, wife of Daniel Endy, all of Boyertown; a sister, Barbara Jean Bish, of Souderton; and 3 grandchildren: Dylan, Aidan, and Sophia. Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11 AM at Shepherd of the Hills UCC. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be private in the church cemetery.
