Rebecca Balogach-Bennett

Rebecca Jane Balogach-Bennett, 32, died on September 7, 2007 in Monroe, GA. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Barbara (Schriffert) Balogach of Wescosville. Formerly of E. Emmaus Ave in Allentown, she was the loving wife of Aaron Bennett since they married in 2003. After graduating from Salisbury High School in 1993, she received her B.S. in Health Promotion from Auburn University in Auburn, AL in 1998. During her high school years, she was a gymnast at the Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center in Allentown, where she was a member of their Level 10 team. In 1993, she was the Regional Champion for Level 10 and she competed nationally as well. She earned a full athletic scholarship to Auburn University where she competed on the Auburn University Gymnastics Team from 1993 to 1997. She worked for Display Industries in Atlanta, GA where she was an Account Rep for Gatorade. Rebecca loved sewing, decorating and hiking. From 2004 to 2007 she participated in the Annual Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation Race for Reaserch marathon/walk. Survivors: In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by twin sister, Jessica, wife of Travis Almy, of Marietta, GA, sister, Sarah, wife of Dr. Robert Getter, of Brooklyn, NY, brother, Charles Balogach and his wife Angela of Center Valley, grandmother, Margaret Dziedzic of Allentown, two nieces and two nephews. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, October 8 at The Meadows, 1770 Meadows Road, Hellertown, PA 18055. There will be a calling hour from 10:30 -11:30 A.M. prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the services. Arrangements by Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Hellertown.
