Randall “Randy” Romig, 73, of Barto passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23rd, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Ethel (Graves) Romig. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Edward and Betty (Bauer) Romig. Early in life, Randy was a National Sales Manager for a packaging company. However, he spent most of his working life as a Professional Bass Fisherman, competing in tournaments around the country, a profession he cherished for over 20 years. He was a member of Community Bible Fellowship Church in Red Hill and he had also served as an Open Spaces Director for Douglass Township where he was a resident.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his siblings: Jeff Romig and his wife, Diana, of Birdsboro, and his nieces, Caroline and Paige Romig. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Catherine, wife of Rodney Moses, and Tomi Tyson, both of Florida. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Leon Romig, who was killed while serving his country in the Vietnam War.
All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 am on Saturday, March 2, at the Community Bible Fellowship Church with a celebration of Randy’s life at 11 am. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at the following: https://www.facebook.com/CommunityBFCRedHill.
