Phyllis J. (Schaeffer) Urffer, 81, widow of Norbert Urffer, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Lutheran Home in Topton where she resided. She was formerly of Fourth Street in East Greenville and the Upper Perk Manor, Red Hill. Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Gussie (Bolton) Schaeffer. Phyllis worked for many years at the former Keystone Transformer Co., Pennsburg. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the Upper Perkiomen Golden Agers. She is survived by son, Dennis Urffer and his wife Judy of Boyertown; grandchildren, Phil, Ben, Kim and Stacey; and great-grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Katelin and Alysia. She was predeceased a son, Randall. A Mass celebrating the life of Mrs. Urffer will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. Call from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church or the Diakon Hospice-St. John, Allentown.
