Phyllis Battles

Phyllis "Frosty" J. Battles, 71, of Catasauqua died November 20, 2012. Born in Providence, RI she was the daughter of the late George and Jean (Stern) Battles. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua; and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, where she was a former troop leader and instructor. She was retired from the former Bethlehem Steel and lately worked part-time at Staples, Whitehall. Survivors: brothers: David and his wife Gloria of Bethlehem; and Richard and his wife Barbara of State College. Phyllis was also loved by her 22 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: 1 P.M., Saturday, January 12, 2013, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Rd., Catasauqua, PA 18032.
