Philip Boris Stefanov

Philip Boris Stefanov, 23, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 18, 2023 at St. Luke’s University Hospital in

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Born in Summit, New Jersey, he was the son of Boris Stefanov and Marietta

Peytcheva. Philip graduated from Moravian Academy in 2018 and attended Lehigh Univeristy.

Philip was sensitive, smart, and insightful. He had a heartfelt appreciation of arts, especially music,

photography, and movies, and he loved sharing his favorite art with those close to him. He liked skiing, fishing,

and playing hockey and chess. Philip loved philosophy and politics, cherished having endless debates with

friends, and strove to make sense of the world. He engaged his wonderful sense of humor to help others—and

himself—get through difficult times. He liked the smell of the forest. Philip enjoyed spending time with friends

and family, and was deeply loved.
