Pearl A. Wright, 87, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 29, 2010. She was the wife of the late Robert Wright Sr. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Wentling) Miller. Pearl worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Shoener’s Knitting Mill and also as a clerk at the former LaFerne Dress Shop and the Tiny Tot Shop, both in Pennsburg. She was a faithful member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Green Lane Fire Co. Surviving is a son, Robert “Duddy” Wright Jr., of Pennsburg; and a daughter Nancy wife of Daniel Kaiké of Phoenixville; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Viola “Honey” wife of Joseph Kavacky of Sumneytown, Rose Gaugler of Mills Borough, DE, Susan wife of Forrest Reiter, of Pennsburg, and Betty, of Warren, PA; and a brother, Lester Miller of Jensen Beach, Florida. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Joseph, Bobbie, Charlie, and Jimmy. Services will be held at 11 AM, on Wednesday, November 3, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory are suggested to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
