Pearl White

Pearl White, 89, formerly of Harleysville & Green Lane, died June 6, 2011. She was the widow of Charles White. Born in Cedars, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ellen (Detwiler) Kramer. She was a doll maker for the former Pine Baroness, Harleysville; and worked at the former Gasboy Co., Lansdale in the 1970's. She began her career as a sewing machine operator at the former Sumneytown Pants Factory. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sumneytown. Surviving: Daughters: Susan, wife of Eugene Schmoyer, of East Greenville; Doris, wife of John Hernke, of St. Charles, MO; and Donna, wife of Donald Meese, of Lansdale; Siblings: Anna Mae Yerger and Florence Clayton, both of Souderton; and Abram Kramer, of Ft Myers, FL; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, Sumneytown, 18084. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at the church.
