Pauline Moyer

Pauline M. Moyer, 90, formerly of Hereford, was born November 27, 1917 in Hereford, PA, to Ammon and Margaret (Bachman) Strunk. She died Sunday, April 27, 2008, with her family by her side in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Earl W. Moyer, and most recently resided in the Luther Crest Retirement Community in Allentown, PA. Pauline was a 1935 graduate of East Greenville High School. She was a member of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church for the past 62 years. She was also a member of the Upper Perkiomen Chapter of the Soroptomist Club, the Business and Professional Women’s Club of the Perkiomen Valley and the Upper Perkiomen Needlework Guild. SURVIVORS: Pauline was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by five children: son, Larry and wife, Linda of Mertztown; son, Timothy and wife, Betty Lou, of Broadheadsville; daughter, Ann Luise Capri and David Lachman of Tampa, FL; son, Bryan and wife, Donna, of Albrightsville; and son, Jeffery and wife, Charlotte, of Ocean City, NJ. She is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn Fegley of Emmaus, Winifred Moyer, of Quakertown, and Anna Mae Koniow of Douglassville. Pauline was the beloved grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. SERVICES: Friday, May 2 at 11:00 AM at Palm Schwenkfelder Church, Gravel Pike, Palm, PA. Viewing is scheduled Thursday evening May 1 from 7:00-8:30pm at the funeral home. A brief viewing from 10:00-11:00am.at the church will precede the service. A lunch reception will follow the service.
