Pauline Ferguson

Pauline Ferguson, 89, of Mineola, NY, passed away November 20, 2015. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Lydia (VanSise) Smires. Pauline was a long time employee of the Long Island Railroad. She was past president of the Mineola Senior Club, and a member of the Leisure Club. She enjoyed reading and organizing bus trips for her Senior Club. Surviving are sons: Blair, and his wife, Valerie, of Easton, PA; and Harvey, of Houston, TX; a granddaughter: Kimberly; a sister-in-law: Mary Lou Smires of Floral Park, NY; nephews: Harvey, Dan, and a niece, Deborah. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Frances Jacobson, Florence Smires, and Harvey Smires. Service will be held in New York.
