Paul Thomas

Paul R. Thomas, 81, of Poplar St., Allentown, died October 13, 2011. He was the husband of Ruth (Moyer) Thomas. They were married 62 years in May. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Raymond & Marie (Wood) Thomas. He owned the former Thomas Market, Lanark, from 1966-1978. Then, he was an Operations Manager for Erlich, Allentown, until 1995. Most recently, he worked at the Berghold’s Produce Stand at the Allentown Farmer’s Market. He was a member of Chestnut Hill UCC, Coopersburg. Surviving: Wife; Children: Paula, wife of Donald Crouthamel, of Quakertown; Sherry, wife of Jody Koch, of Coopersburg; Reller Thomas, and his wife, Mitzi, of Center Valley; Karen Ryan, of FL; and Thomas Thomas, and his companion, Lori, of the Poconos; Siblings: Raymond, and his wife, Dorothy, of Coopersburg; Marie Schnalzer and Ida Mae, wife of Frank Loew, both of Quakertown; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
