Paul Legge

Paul L. Legge, 84, of Harleysville, passed away January 31, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Rita J. (Goodspeed) Legge. Born in Upper Merion Township on August 1, 1930, he was a son of the late Daniel and Alice (Buler) Legge. Paul served in the Air Force during the Korean War (stateside). He was employed at Bell Telephone as a Chief Switchman, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. Paul enjoyed golf, and time spent with family and friends . Surviving with his wife, are children: Susan Legge, of Easton; Betty, wife of Bruce Crouthamel, of Coopersburg; Robert Legge, and his wife, Joyce, of Norristown; and Daniel Legge, of Fountaintown , IN ; 7 grandchildren; Phil, Bob, Michael, Ed, Michael, Matthew and Laura. 7 great-grandchildren; Dylan, Parker, Matthew, Emma, Eva, Sarah and Marcy. He was pre-deceased by siblings, Daniel Legge and Ruth Spanton; and a granddaughter, Marcy Lynn. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street , Pennsburg. Friends may visit from 2:30-3:30 PM.
