Patricia Rae Shoffstall (Patton)

Patricia Rae Shoffstall, 92, a longtime resident of Frederick, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 16th, 2025. Born in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Spigelmyer, stepfather and Mother Esther Alma (Patton) Spigelmyer. She was the beloved wife of the late William L Shoffstall who passed away in 2020. Patricia was a graduate of Dairy Township/Yaegerstown High School. Patricia worked for Merck Sharp & Dohme in West Point, PA for 25 years. She was a member of Morning Star Church in Bechtelsville, PA. After retirement she worked part time at the Mill in Bechtelsville, PA. She really enjoyed the staff and being the elder statesmen. She cherished traveling and visiting her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children: Stephen Shoffstall and his wife Debra of Bechtelsville, Mark Shoffstall of Shanesville, and Kelly Dowling and her husband, Thomas of Kennett Square; her grandchildren: Shanna, Joshua, Casey, Michael, Carly, Olivia, Raeann, Jade and Devon; nine great grandchildren; and her siblings: Jeanne Shehan, Jack Patton, Thomas Spigelmyer and his wife, Juaniata, Melvin Spigelmyer, William Spigelmyer and his wife, Marybeth, and Lisa Klauder and her husband, Phillip. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah who died in 2007.

All are invited to a celebration of her life at Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA 18073 on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, with the visitation beginning at 4pm and the service at 5pm. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown.
