Pamela Rose "Pam" Garlick (Smith)

May 9, 1951 — April 3, 2024

Pamela “Pam” Garlick, 72, of Hereford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth R. Garlick. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Norma (Ziegler)Smith the late Earl Smith. Pam was an author of both fiction and news and magazine articles. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville. She also taught for the PA State Fire Academy in the Fire Police curriculum and on several occasions, she taught at the National Fire Academy. She had been a member of the Sanatoga Fire Co.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her sons, Barry Weand and his wife, Abby of Reading, and Bobby Risko of Hereford; her grandchildren: Raeann Risko, Shellie Wolf and her husband, Edward of Galveston, TX, Misty Gephart and her husband, Ryan of Boiling Springs, PA, and Carrie Harlin and her husband, Chad of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Parkinsons Foundation parkinson.org or American Cancer Society, cancer.org.

All are invited to gather with her family on Monday, April 15 at 2 pm at New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ for a celebration of Pam’s Life. Visit her “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
