Oscar Sturkey

Oscar E. "Ed" Sturkey, 79, of Perkiomenville, died June 5, 2012 at home. He was the loving husband of Betty Lou (Miller) Sturkey. He was born and raised in Virginia, and served his country honorably in the Navy He was employed as a knife technician at the former C.L. Sturkey, Inc, in Perkiomenville for many years. Surviving with his wife, are daughters; Roxanne Sturkey, of Perkiomenville, and Patricia Warren, of Virginia; brothers: Thomas, of Bristol, PA, and Frankie, of Virginia; 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters. He was pre-deceased by a son, Bernard, in 2009. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
