Oscar Dahlstrom

Oscar W. Dahlstrom, 95, of Pennsburg, passed away November 26, 2014. He was the husband of the late Santa (Armenia) Dahlstrom. Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Sven and Esther (Ostrom) Dahlstrom. Oscar was a detective for the New York City Police Dept. from 1947-1967. He then was employed at Merck for 15 years before retiring. He enjoyed reading and working outside when he was able. Surviving are daughters: Esther Larimore and Arlene Dahlstrom, both of Pennsburg; a brother: Gilbert “Harry”, of Massachusetts; 4 grandchildren: Luke, Mark, Sharon, and Amy Joy; and a great-granddaughter, Adrienne. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Sven “Gilly”, Esther, and Margaret. Services will be 11 AM on Monday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Viewing from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at New Goshenhoppen Cemetery, East Greenville. Contributions may be made in his memory to the SPCA or to the Charity of your choice.
