Oliver H. “Ollie” Kulp, 81, of Pennsburg Manor and formerly of Pennsburg and Red Hill, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2010. Born in Hanover Township, he was a son of the late Lyman Kresge and Florence Kulp. Ollie was well known in the community as a sales associate for the former Heavner & Shelly and then Bieler & Reigner Department Store in Pennburg. Prior to that, he was a presser at various sewing factories in the Upper Perkiomen area. He was a faithful member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. Ollie is survived by his caregiver, Donna Badman; a son, Donald; step-brothers, Raymond Hank of Pennsburg, and Ronald Hank of Pottstown; sisters Mary Ellen Kibblehouse of Red Hill, and Helen Long of Red Hill; and Joan of Pottstown; and many grand children and great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by sons, Michael and Bruce. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Pennsburg. Rev. Rebecca Stevens of Pennsburg UCC will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are suggested to Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Ollie entrusted his funeral arrangements to Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg.
