Norman C. “Boomy” Kulp, 72, of Sumneytown, passed away on September 19, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Bishop) Kulp. They celebrated 46 years of marriage in July. Born in Green Lane, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Very B. (Myers) Kulp. He was a crane operator for Superior Tube Co. in Collegeville for over 40 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of Friedens UCC in Sumneytown. He was also a member of the VFW in Red Hill and was a life member of the Green Lane Fire Company. Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Dr. Michelle Kulp McEliece, wife of Richard McEliece; a granddaughter, Erica Tufts; a great granddaughter, Olivia; and siblings, Nancy, wife of Ralph Seasholtz of East Greenville, and Peggy, wife of Lawrence Fulmer of Palm; and a brother in law Roy Himmelwright. He was predeceased by a sister Gail. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Frieden’s UCC, P.O. Box 268, Sumneytown, PA 18084.
