Neil H. Gery, 69, of East Greenville passed away at home on April 27, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Walter) Gery. They celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 28th. Born in East Greenville, he was a son of the late Harvey and Verna (Marsteller) Gery. Neil was member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville where he was a former Deacon and Elder. He worked as a machinest, first for Bracalente’s Manufacturing Company in Trumbauersville where he worked for 25 years, and then for Ametek Pittman in Harleysville where he worked for 18 years. Neil was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and he loved woodworking. His family was most important to him. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving with his wife; are two sons: Travis and his wife Sharon, of Pottstown, and Kevin and his wife Valerie of Barto; grandchildren: Jacob, Victoria, Joshua, Mary Elizabeth, Jaidyn, and Kaylee; and a sister, Arlene Schmoyer of Red Hill. He was predeceased by a brother Wilmer. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Rd, East Greenville.
