Nanette Sue "Nan" Case (Lafontaine)

August 19, 1968 — August 3, 2024

On Saturday August 3rd, 2024, Nanette Sue Case (LaFontaine) passed away in her Pennsburg residence. She was surrounded by her loving family after a long, courageously fought battle with cancer. Nanette was born on August 19th, 1968, the youngest of five children to Alfred and Stella (Regimbald) LaFontaine in Watertown, NY. Nan, which most people called her, spent her early childhood at her family farm in Rutland, NY. Nan lost her mother, Stella, at an early age in 1979. Her father, Alfred, then re-married to Veronica (Amelio) LaFontaine when she was a teenager, and they then relocated to Watertown, NY. Nanette graduated from Watertown High School in 1986 and studied at the local community college (JCC). On April 23rd, 1994, Nan married her high school sweetheart, Bradley Case. They resided in Harleysville and Pennsburg, PA. Nan started a family of her own and became the wonderful mother to three amazing children. Nan’s main job was raising her children and providing a loving home for her family. When she wasn’t pouring her energy into her kids, she worked numerous different jobs, last being, a sterile processing technician at Grand View Surgical Center at Harleysville. In her free time, Nan enjoyed gardening, spending time in nature, and practicing yoga.

Nanette was an amazing, beautiful, and kindhearted soul. She had such a special spirit that made everyone feel warm and welcomed. She is survived by her husband, Bradley Case and her three children, Hannah Case, Hailey Case, and her husband Kevin Loose, and Broderick Case. Along with her siblings Joanne LaFontaine, Michele LaFontaine-Mahon (Don), Carmen Fuller (Bob) and David LaFontaine, and her stepbrothers: Frank, Edward, Thomas, and Patrick Amelio.

Celebration of Life gatherings will be held by invitation. One on Saturday, August 17th at her residence in Pennsburg, PA, and another on Saturday, August 31st at her sister Michele’s residence, in Watertown, NY.
