Nancy Elaine Canning

Nancy Elaine Canning, 83, of Bally, passed away on December 29, 2025, surrounded by care and love. Born on April 15, 1942, in Abington, Pennsylvania, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Morgan) White. She shared 50 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, William "Jim" Canning.

Nancy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She treasured simple pleasures-reading a good book, playing cards, completing word searches, and relaxing while watching her favorite television shows. Nancy had a deep appreciation for time spent together.

Along with her husband, Nancy is survived by her children: Dawn Beers and her husband, Chris; Amy Canning; and Ray Yoder; her grandchildren, Owen, Emma, Tiffany, and Josh; her siblings, John White and his wife, Sandy, and Kristina Wagner and her husband, Christopher; and her cherished cat, Bobo.

A private memorial service will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made in Nancy's name to the Boyertown Salvation Army (https://give.salvationarmy.org/campaign/721132/donate), in grateful recognition of the kindness and support they provided to her and her husband Jim, over the years.
