Nancy Brey

Nancy J. Brey, 69, of Pennsburg, died May 23, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Brey. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Anna (Dulin) Leister. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, and all the beautiful gifts of nature. She especially enjoyed her family and spending time with them at the Brey Cabin in Sullivan County. She also had many memories shared by her siblings of growing up in "Brooklyn" during the "good old days". She was employed for 32 years by C&D Charter Power Systems, before retiring in 2002. Surviving with her husband, is a daughter: Dianna (Gaugler), wife of Donald Rice, of Phillipsburg, NJ; Step-children: Mary Jane (Brey), wife of Thomas May, of Barto; Luanne (Brey), wife of Lou Query, of Douglassville; and Earl Brey, of Barto; Siblings: Roy Leister, and his wife, Judee, of Harrisburg; Charles Leister, and his wife, Bonnie, of Pennsburg; Donald Leister, and his wife, Pauline, of Muncy Valley; Phyllis, wife of George Manion, of Pennsburg; Merrill Leister, and his wife, Brenda, of Hellertown; Larry Leister, and his wife, Pat, of New Waterford, OH; 5 grandchildren: Jason, Cody, Amber, Amanda, & Brian; 9 step-grandchildren: Damian, Lauren, Todd, Katie, Amanda, Justin, Paige, Ashley, & Caelyn; 5 great-grandchildren: Madison, Tyler, Karven, and Eli, a step-great-grandchild: Lacy; and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers: Robert & William Leister, a stepson, Scott Brey, and a nephew: Patrick Leister. Memorial Services will be on Wednesday at 11AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 10-11AM.
