Michael W. Spiro, 66, of Red Hill died July 24, 2010. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Boyle) Spiro. They were married 43 years in June. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Rose (Agogino) Spiro, of Philadelphia, and the late Michael Spiro. He received a BS from West Chester University and an MS from Rosemont College. He was a middle school science teacher in Philadelphia for many years before retiring. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bally; and was a charter member of the Valley Soccer League. He enjoyed teaching, cooking, chess, being with his friends, and country music. He was an avid Eagles fan. Surviving with his wife and mother, are daughters, Jennifer, wife of Jamey Eisenberger, of Palm; and Melanie Spiro, of Pittsburgh; a brother, Harold, of N. Lauderdale, FL; and a sister, Patricia Barton of Philadelphia. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally. A viewing will be from 7-9 PM Thursday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, and from 10-10:45 AM Friday at church.
