Michael Rimer

Michael Rimer, 63, of Mt. Bethel, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” (Sloane) Rimer. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a son of the late Irving and Adele (Geller) Rimer. He graduated from Montclair High School and worked as a builder and renovator of swimming pools in New Jersey until his retirement. Mike was a Certified Pool Operator and member of the National Swimming Pool Association. He loved to ride his Harley and was a former member of H.O.G. and a few motorcycle clubs. Mike also enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Along with his wife, Mike is survived by sons: Andrew Rimer and his wife Kimberly of Parsippany, NJ, and William Audelo of Hellertown; a daughter, Aimee Rimer McRae, wife of Stephen McRae; two grandchildren: Griffin and Sadie Mae; his adored nieces and nephews; his devoted brother Novelle James and the entire James family; his first wife and friend Sara Brixius Rimer; his devoted dogs, especially his Redbone; and many dear friends and neighbors.
