Maxine Lynn Carvalho (Reinhart)

Maxine Lynn Carvalho, 73, of Scranton and formerly of Pennsburg, Gouldsboro, and Concord, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. She was the widow of John Carvalho who passed away in 2017 and her first husband, John Prevoznik. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Roberta (Shisler) Reinhart. She was a 1968 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the St. Joseph Center in Scranton, PA.

She is survived by her brothers, Randy Reinhart and his wife Mary, of Myerstown, nieces, Rebecca, wife of Chad Kummerer and Nicole Reinhart; and nephews, Matt Reinhart and his wife Shae, and Randy Reinhart and his wife Meredith; and six great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Reinhart.

At her request, services will be held privately. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Hereford Mennonite Cemetery.
