Max Abrams

Max Abrams, 92, of Hereford, died September 9, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary (Freimuth) Abrams. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Isaac and Mollie (Siegel) Abrams. Max served his country honorably in the Army during WW II. He was a heating repair and oil deliveryman for the Olney Oil Co, in Philadelphia for 27 years, retiring in 1980. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Max was also a devoted Phillies fan. Survivors: Sons, James L. Abrams of Jim Thorpe, and Gene Howard of Philadelphia; daughters, Natalie Bonett of Palm, and Virginia Loos of Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Services: Wednesday, 11 a.m., Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
