Mary Georgia Yankoos

Mary G. Yankoos, (1919-2021),101, of Williams Township joined the Lord peacefully at home on January 9th, 2021. Born in Easton, Pa ,she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Muskowski) Yankoos. She was preceded by sisters Mildred, Danuta, Bertha, and a brother George. . She was an executive secretary for The Boy Scouts of America and later for the former Bethlehem Steel Company.. Mary enjoyed bird and butterfly watching, sculpting, and watercolor painting. Mary was also an avid reader. Mary is survived by her nephew Glen Gercie of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, a niece Danuta Carbonetta of Taylors Island Maryland, and her dear friends Rudy Maes and his family. Due to the current health crisis her services will be held privately. Mary will be laid to rest with her family in the Easton Cemetery. A Memorial mass will be held at a future date.
