Mary Anna Walters

Mary A. Walters, 92, of Barto, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Walters. Born in Congo, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Fry) Meck. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Bally where she was a school volunteer. She was also an active volunteer and past president of St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, and spending time with family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her sons: Philip and his wife Tina of Barto, and Joseph and Pam Kremus of Northampton; her daughter: Rosemarie Walters of Douglassville and Elizabeth, wife of Dean Gamler of Barto; her grandchildren: Nicole, Jason, Eric, Andrea, Mark, Amanda, James, Joseph, Olivia, Jennifer, and Adrienne; eight great grandchildren; and her sister, Martha Fleisch of Maryland. She was predeceased by her siblings: Warren, Mabel, Earl, Walter, Raymond, Linwood, Helen, Marian, and Dorothy. All are invited to gather from 10 – 10:45 on Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, PA 19503. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest with her husband in Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the church at the address above.
