Mary Therese Helen Yost (Ferry)

Mary-Therese H. (Ferry) Yost of Coopersburg, PA passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. She was born in Allentown, June 19, 1939, to the late Margaret (Novajovsky) and Vincent Ferry. She was married to her childhood sweetheart Robert M. Yost in 1957 and they shared 64 years of loving marriage, until his passing January 13, 2022.

Survivors: Son Robert III and Wife Christy of Mandan, ND, son Thomas and wife Lynn of Coopersburg, PA; Grandchildren : Christopher Yost and wife Michelle of Blandon, PA, Lauren and husband Timothy Keller of Clearfield, PA, Ryan Yost and wife Caitlin of Martins Creek, PA and Great-granddaughters Emma Rose and Sophia of Blandon, PA. Brothers: Dennis and wife Maxine of Cookeville, TN, Nephew: Shawn Ferry and wife Cynthia, Merritt Island , FL. Dear Friends Anita Ferry, of Merritt Island, FL, Charlotte and Matt Kulp, Center Valley, PA. And a special thanks to my wonderful friends Charlotte and Matt and my neighbors who helped me in my time of need.

She was employed by SEC TV for 28 years, retiring in 2004. At TV-2 Studios she received Telly, Omni and Videographer awards as an Associate Producer for productions at Musikfest. She was then employed by Falk Funeral Homes until her second retirement in September 2018.

She was devoted to her family, her husband, children and especially her grandchildren, whom she introduced to astronomy, nature and especially travel. Being an independent Travel Consultant for over 30 years, her passion was traveling to all corners of the globe, where she got to meet and enjoy all the different cultures. Besides her love of travel, dance, astronomy, and raising monarch butterflies, she was a life member of the Coopersburg Historical Society, and an environmentalist as well as an avid supporter of NRDC.
