Mary Reilly

December 31, 1948 — January 2, 2021

Mary T. Reilly, 72, of Quakertown and formerly of Red Hill, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021. She was the wife of the late Gerard E. Reilly who passed on January 31, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (McGinn) McCloskey. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church in Pennsburg. She was also a member of the VFW Post 5954 in Red Hill. She loved her Irish heritage and danced for many years as a member of the Irish Folk Dancers of Philadelphia and belonged to the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She also loved the Jersey shore and spending time with family in Ocean City, NJ. Mary is survived by her sisters: Betty Gaul of Lansdale, and Maureen, wife of Mark Mumper of Quakertown; her brothers: Jack McCloskey of San Antonio, TX, Joe McCloskey of Philadelphia, and Mike McCloskey and his wife Brenda of Collegeville; and many loving nieces and nephews. All are invited to a Memorial Mass at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg. Gather for Mass from 9:30 AM. Following the Mass, she will be interred with her husband at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Upper Makefield Township, Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to VFW Post 5954, 401 Main Street, Red Hill, Pa 18076.Visit her “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
