Mary Hoffner

Mary E. “Marie” Hoffner, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Hoffner who died in 2003. Born in Shenandoah, PA, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Durko) Whitecavage. She was a graduate of St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Bethlehem and worked as a nurse for the hospital and later as a private duty nurse. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown. Survivors: Sons: Robert and his wife Penina of New Castle, DE, and Michael and his wife Kimberly of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Morgan and Kelsey; and a brother, Robert and his wife Debbie of Shenandoah, PA. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, David Whitecavage and Pauline Kondisko. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 12 pm, Saturday at Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St., Hellertown, where all are invited to gather from 11 am.
