Mary Doll

Mary Bertrand Doll, 93, recently of Lehigh Center in Macungie and formerly of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2020. She was the wife of the late Carl G. Doll who passed away in 2001. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Nellie (Price) Bertrand. She graduated from Easton High School in 1944 and then attended Churchman Business School in Easton. She was a secretary for the former Dixie Cup Company in Easton until her children were born. She was a member of Lower Saucon United Church of Christ. Mary was a very accomplished businesswoman and was the past president of both the Hellertown Saucon Valley Women’s Club and the Northampton County Chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. She was also the Past Matron of the Calypso Chapter (formerly the Hellertown Chapter) of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her sons: Raymond of Terrell, TX, and David and his wife Karen of Hellertown; her daughter Judith Doll Worrall of West Chester; her grandchildren: Doug and Katie Worrall of New York City, Tim and Mattie Worrall of Drexel Hill, Emily Doll, of Nazareth, and Jeremy Doll of Hellertown. Due to the current health restrictions, her services will be held privately. She will be laid to rest with her family in St. John’s Cemetery in Bangor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hellertown Area Library, 409 Constitution Avenue, Hellertown, PA 18055.
