Mary Ruth Deraymond

Mary S. (Shattuck) DeRaymond, 96, of Freemansburg, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021. She was formerly married to the late Raymond DeRaymond, father of her nine children. Born in Flint, MI, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Shattuck. Mary held a master's degree from the University of Michigan. She loved music, playing the viola, and sang in the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. For over 30 years, she worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block in Hellertown, Bethlehem, and Easton. Surviving are her children: William DeRaymond, Raymond J. DeRaymond Jr., Jonathan J. DeRaymond, Mary R. Bernhard and her husband Rick, Miranda J. DeRaymond, Peter G. DeRaymond and his wife Roxanne, Amy Fontno and her husband Manuel and Ann Marie Gombert and her husband Xavier; her grandchildren: Cezanne, Emilie, Adam, Rachel, Xiana, Nathan, Hugo, Tiah, and Titouan; and her sister Lois Whitehurst.
