Mary Anne Kostrubiak Heise

Mary Anne Kostrubiak Heise, 87, of Harleysville passed away October 31, 2019. She was the beloved wife of David M. Heise, and the late Michael L. Kostrubiak. Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Kohl) Umstead. As a young woman, Mary Anne was employed at the former Interstate Hosiery Mill in Lansdale. She then worked for Brooks Instruments, Hatfield, for 22 years. Mary Anne enjoyed reading, traveling, and listening to country music. Surviving with her husband, are children: Mary Kostrubiak; Elizabeth Kostrubiak, and her husband, Robert Strohm; Michael Kostrubiak, and his wife, Ellen; and Joseph Kostrubiak, and his wife, Fran, all of Harleysville; and Claire, and her husband, Howard Cauffman, of Lansdale: Step-daughters, Lydia Heise; and Christine and her husband John Barger, all of Warminster; a brother, John Umstead of Manchester, NH; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Helen Ann; and siblings: William, Richard, Joseph, and Helen. Memorial Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
