Marvin Maurer

Marvin C. Maurer Sr, 74, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on June 25, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Lydia Mae (Troup) Maurer. Born in Pitman, PA, he was a son of the late Howard and Edna Maurer. He was a machine operator for the former Green Lane Hosiery. He was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. Surviving with his wife are two sons: Dwayne of Harrisburg, and Marvin Jr. of East Greenville; a daughter, Bonnie Freed of East Greenville; two brothers: Lawrence Maurer of Klingerstown; and Deryl Maurer, of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Tammy, Crystal, Danita, Dwayne Jr., Angie, Donnie, Jessie, Heather and Ivory; and 10 great grandchildren: Kevin III, Kyle, Kira, Mackenzie, Kailee, Braylin, Leah, Mason, Alexis, and Leahnna. Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St, Pennsburg. Visitation will be from 10 - 11AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
