Martha Freed

Martha K. Freed, age 99, of Spinnerstown, died September 10, 2010 at the home of her nephew, Ronald and Judith Freed, with whom she resided.. Born in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Emma (Heipler) Freed. She was employed at Knoll, East Greenville in the wood finishing department, for many years before retiring. Prior to that, she was a box maker at a Cigar Box Factory in Quakertown. She was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown. Surviving is a brother, Earl, of Spinnerstown, and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Woodrow, Clarence, Charles, and Paul. Services will be on Wednesday at 11 AM at Trinity Great Swamp UCC. A viewing will be from 10:30-11AM at the church. Interment will be in Old Zionsville UCC Cemetery.
