Marjorie Ortwein

Marjorie Ortwein, 90, formerly of Hellertown and Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2016. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Ortwein who died in 2006. They were married for 67 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (Parenti) Bove. Marge worked for various local dress factories and was an avid gardener and enjoyed bingo. Survivors: Daughters: Debra R. Smith-Nobles, wife of James Nobles, Renee M. Shelbo, and Robin Kovaleski-Zsilavetz, wife of Louis Zsilavetz Jr.; grandchildren: Adam Smith and his companion Janelle Alderfer, Zachary Smith, Shannon, wife of Jason Mohap, and Kelly and Neil Kovaleski; great grandchildren: Dane Mohap and Ava Smith; and siblings: Eugene Bove, Rose Facchiano, and Jennie, wife of Tyson Marz. She was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua, and siblings: Ralph, Anthony, and Peter, Grace, Anne. Services: Services will be held privately.
