Marion C. Leckey

Marion C. Leckey, of Finland, PA, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Varnait) Chimney; beloved wife of the late Ronald C. Leckey; loving mother of Thomas C. Leckey, Lee Anne Leckey (and husband Alan Bauman); dear grandmother of Sien Bauman, and sister of Rita Devine and the late Agnes Farnan. Marion was a loving, devoted mother and a generous and giving friend to all the lives she touched. She will always be fondly remembered for her sparkling personality, her bountiful skills as a hostess and cook, the joy she took in the gathering of family and friends, and her lifelong passion for all nature’s creations domestic and wild. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10 am, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, PA 19529.
