Marie Hart

Marie A. Hart, 84, of Frederick, and formerly of Havertown, passed away November 26, 2017. She was the beloved wife of William G. Hart. The couple was married 63 years this past January. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Marie (Vaage) Vikingstad. Marie was a librarian for many years at the Haverford Township Free Library. She was a member of Temple Lutheran Church, Havertown, where she was very active until becoming ill. Surviving with her husband, are daughters: Andrea Hart, and her husband, John O’Connell, of Collegeville and Carol Grendisa, of Mickleton, NJ; grandsons: Bill & Carl; siblings: Anne and Erik Vikingstad, both of Philadelphia, and nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Gunhild Hazler, and Lars and John Vikingstad. Memorial Services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9th at Temple Lutheran Church, 501 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083. Friends and family are welcome to gather at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
