Maria Sowers

Maria Veronika Sowers, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on October 7, 1937 in Aschaffenburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Heinrich and Anna (Gumbel) Schuppert. Maria was the loving wife of the late Warren Sowers, sharing 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2011.

Maria is survived by her son Randy Sowers, and his wife Donna of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter Renee Phillips of Quakertown; grandchildren, Keith, Brooke, and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Dominick and Kylee; sister, Erika Schuppert; and cousin George Gumbel. She was predeceased by her siblings, Karl Heinz, Annemie Hugo, and Helene Sell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Falk Funeral Home and Crematory, Pennsburg.
