Margaret Catherine Mower

Margaret Catherine (Weimar) Mower, 101, of Lehighton and formerly of East Greenville, passed away December 12, 2020. She was the widow of Edward Mower. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Kelly) Weimar. Margaret was the head checker for Acme Markets in Philadelphia before retiring. She was also a bookkeeper for the former Shalom Mennonite Church in East Greenville. Surviving is a son: Christopher Mower of Philadelphia; a sister: Anna Mary Finnegan, of Philadelphia; a daughter-in-law: Mary Frantz of Lehighton; grandchildren: Christopher, John, Kathryn, and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren: Christopher III, Brittany, Myles, Jacquelyn, Damian, Darren, Miranda, Madison, and Sierra; and great-great-grandchildren: Richard, Christopher IV, Rocco Jr. and Zaiden. She was pre-deceased by a son, Edward Mower; and siblings: Adeline Mower, William Weimar Jr, John Weimer, James Weimer, and Robert Weimer. Services will be private.
