Margaret Rose Leister

Margaret R. Leister, 81, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 5, 2018. She was the wife of the late Richard Leister. Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Edna (Kolb) Faust. She worked for the Upper Perkiomen School District for many years before retiring in 1998. Margaret was a faithful member of Peace In Zion United Church of Christ in Zieglerville. She was also a member of the Auxilliaries of the East Greenville Owl’s Nest, #1405, the East Greenville Fire Company, and the American Legion Post #84 in Palm.

Surviving are her daughters: Rosemary, wife of Lon Brinckman, Penny Fetterman and her companion Brian Heilman, and Sharon, wife of Huber Remick, all of East Greenville; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Dorothy Schwenk of Gilbertsville, and Kenneth Faust of Harleysville. She was predeceased by siblings: Earl Wonsidler, Robert J. Faust, and Albert Faust.

Services: All are invited to a viewing on Thursday from 6 – 8 PM and Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A Celebration of Her Life will follow the viewing on Friday. She will be interred with her husband at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery in Hosensack.
