Margaret Hermanovitch

Margaret J. Hermanovitch, 91, of Bangor and formerly of Hellertown, entered eternal rest on May 2, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Hermanovitch. In October they celebrated 33 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Smyth) Giguere. She was a cake decorator for more than 30 years and taught cake decorating in many local stores. She retired in 2002 due to her health. She loved to do many different crafts and handywork and she loved to paint. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time teaching them her crafts. Survivors: Husband; a son Earl Alcott Jr. (Patty) of Hatfield; a daughterLillian Carlen of Wind Gap; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, John Hermanovitch (Shirley) of Macungie. She was predeceased by her first husband, Earl Alcott Sr.; her second husband, Earl Wilson; a brother George; and twin stillborn siblings. Services: 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown, PA 18055. Call on Saturday from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hellertown Union Cemetery.
