Margaret “Peggy” Helm, 80, of Williams Township, PA, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late Frederick and Veronica (Corcoran) Crowe.
Peggy dedicated her career to helping others as a skilled Medical Technologist, blending precision with a compassionate spirit. Outside of her profession, she found joy and fulfillment in creative pursuits such as interior design and hosting gatherings, where her artistic eye and warm hospitality brought people together. She was known for her love of entertaining, her talent for transforming spaces, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome.
Family was the cornerstone of Peggy’s life. She is survived by her children: Arron Helm and his wife Christie, and Joshua Helm and his partner Timothy Ryan; her beloved granddaughter Avrie Helm; her brothers Robert, William, and Edward Crowe; and her many nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her siblings Maureen Fitzpatrick and Frederick Crowe, whose memories she treasured.
A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Peggy will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and kindness. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Peggy’s memory through donations to St. Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem, PA, or The Michael J.
