Margaret H. Ferry, 94, The Rosary Lady,” formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, died on October 17, 2008 in Coopersburg. She was the loving wife of Vincent J. Ferry who passed away in 1975. She resided in St. Petersburg, FL for 42 years, moving back to the Lehigh Valley in 2001. While living in Florida, she received numerous awards for the hours of volunteer work she did at local hospital and nursing homes. She was very active in the Salvation Army Home League. Best remembered as “The Rosary Lady” for the thousands of rosaries she made and sent to the underprivileged in countries throughout the world. This brought her recognition by the Morning Call on Sunday, July 29, 1999 in a special artcle entitled “The Rosary Lady: Never-idle hands work so others can pray” which appeared on page 1 of the Neighbors Section. Born in Fullerton (Whitehall) she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Pramik) Novajovsky. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Florida and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Limeport. Survivors: Son, Dennis P. of Cookeville, TN; daughter, Mary Therese, wife of Robert Yost, of Coopersburg; sister, Josephine Leiby of Whitehall; three grandsons, Robert, Thomas and Shawn; and three great grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, and Lauren. She was pre-deceased by 8 brothers and 3 sisters. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Limeport, but details are pending at this time. Interment in St. Petersburg, Florida at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1418 Main Street, Hellertown.
