Margaret Mary Detrick

Margaret Mary Kolackovsky Detrick, 91, former resident of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on July 17, 2022 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA. Born March 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Kolackovsky and Margaret A. Rudy Kolackovsky. She was the wife of the late James J. Detrick. Besides working in the family business, Detrick’s Cabinet Shop, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was very creative with a sewing machine, an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening. She was a cub-scout den mother for her sons. Margaret was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church and will be laid to rest in St Philip & St. James Catholic Cemetery. Survivors are her five children: Margaret Davis and husband Glen, of Lenexa, KS, Rose Murphy and husband Joseph, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, Joseph Detrick of High Point, NC, John Detrick and wife Gracelyn, of Raubsville, PA, and James J. Detrick Jr. and wife Debbie, of Mount Bethel, PA, as well as 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff and administrators at Saucon Valley Manor and Family Pillars for their loving compassionate care for our Mother.
