Lynne Januszkiewicz

Lynne Januszkiewicz, 64, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on January 26, 2023. Born in Ridgewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late August and Dorothy (Eschenbach) Fischer. Lynne was a substitute teacher/instructional assistant in the Bethlehem Area School District for nearly 30 years. Known as “Mrs. J” by her beloved colleagues and students, she spent the majority of her career at Farmersville Elementary School.

Lynne enjoyed the simple things in life. She was fascinated by nature and always kept the backyard birds, squirrels, and “Chippy” the chipmunk well fed. At any opportunity, Lynne loved sharing the adventures and accomplishments of her daughters, even if it made their cheeks turn red. Lynne always shared love and advice with everyone around her, even those she didn’t know. She stressed the importance of being your own health advocate and would encourage everyone reading this to take themselves and loved ones for routine 3D mammograms/screenings.

Lynne is survived by her husband: Jack Januszkiewicz and loving daughters: Amie and Codi Januszkiewicz. Her dogs have always held a special place in her heart and home; her most recent companions being her Cocker Spaniels, Rocky and Wrigglie.
