Loretta Goetz

Loretta L. Goetz, 85, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2020. She was the wife of the late John Goetz Sr. who passed in 2012. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edna Mae (Beller) Trump. Early in life she worked at the former Pennsburg Clothing Factory as a sewing machine operator. Later, she worked as a dishwasher at the Strawberry House Restaurant in Pennsburg. She was a long time member of the Auxilliaries of Legion Post #184 in Palm and VFW Post #5954 in Red Hill. She is survived by her daughters: Judith Peart with whom she resided, Marie Pursel of East Greenville, and Christine, wife of William Klinger of Pennsburg; ten grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children, John Goetz Jr. and Wanda Genery; her son-in-laws: Randy Pursel and Mark Peart; and her siblings: Elmer, Stanley, Betty, and Beatrice. At her request, services will be held privately. She and her husband will be laid to rest at Limerick Garden of Memories.
