Loren Thomas

Loren Linton Thomas, age 83, of Red Hill died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Pennsburg Manor where he resided. He was the husband of the late Fern (Butterweck) Thomas for over 40 years before her passing in 1988. Born in Georgetown, PA, he was the son of late Loren S. and Clara (Draucker) Thomas. He worked as a foreman for Woodson's Dairy for 32 years prior to its closing. He then worked at the Upper Perkiomen High School for 13 years, retiring in 1991. Loren was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Red Hill.He was also a member of the American Legion Post in Palm, PA, the Upper Perkiomen Senior Center, the Red Hill Fire Company and a life member of the Owl's Nest in East Greenville, PA. Surviving is a son, Jeffrey Alan Thomas of Red Hill. Loren was pre-deceased by a brother, Harold and a sister, Erma. Services are private.
