Loren Schultz

Loren A. Schultz, 91, of Harleysville, passed away November 9, 2018. He was the husband of Arlene L. (Hagen) Schultz. Born in St. Paul, MN, he was a son of the late Arthur and Fleurine (LaRose) Schultz. He was a Naval Veteran, serving during WWII. Loren began his career as a sales representative and then manager for Univac, now known as Unisys. In the 1980’s, he developed several Technology Enterprise Centers operating as hubs for start-up companies. He also started several of his own companies, most notably, Decision Data Computer Corporation. He was a Boy Scout Leader in Jarrettown, PA for many years. Surviving with his wife, are children: David Schultz, and his wife, Susan, of Cape May, NJ; JoAnn, wife of Terry Zeigler, of Schwenksville, PA; and Donald Schultz, of Marlton, NJ; grandchildren: Jenelle, Justin, and Jared; great-grandchildren: Kylie, Libby, Amelia, Logan, and Maddie; and brothers: Vernon Schultz, and his wife, Toodie, of Apple Valley, MN; and Ronald Schultz, and his wife Ann, of Conroe, TX. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Liberty Hospice, 7002 Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
